Pastors Vaughan & Ellen Colebrook grew up in Methodist and Baptist Churches where they were active members. In 1978 Ellen suffered a fractured skull and brain haemorrhage and was not expected to live through the night. They called the Elder of their Church to come and pray and she made a remarkable recovery.
Two years later Vaughan was having increasing problems from a serious back and neck injury suffering extreme pain and migraine headaches. He was beginning to lose the feeling in his legs. Doctors could offer little hope of improvement and in despair they sought the Lord and He gave a Word that they were to seek Him with all their hearts for healing. This they began to do, searching the Word and going to Healing Meetings. Vaughan determined that he wasn't going to just be prayed for, he was going to prepare his heart and when he went forward for ministry, he was going to be healed.
Some weeks later he went forward for ministry and over the next ten days the majority of his healing was manifested. The migraine headaches left, the neck which was rigid began to move and all pain left. Then the deformity in his back went and he could stand straight and move without pain. Over the next 12 months he stood on the Word of God and confessed healing Scriptures to his spine, till the degenerated vertebrae were recreated and he could again do heavy work.
Naturally there was great rejoicing at what God had done for us. Then one day God said to Vaughan "I didn't heal you to watch T.V. more comfortably. I want you to share what has happened to you and heal the sick." As an engineer it was important to Vaughan that what ever he did worked. So he asked the Lord to teach him how to pray for the sick to get results.
As he was obedient to the call, God gave him opportunities to share his testimony and minister to the sick and they were healed. In 1983 Vaughan went to Fiji on a team trip with Vision Ministries and saw many amazing miracles as he ministered to the sick.
He came home with a revelation in his heart that Jesus is the same today as he was 2000 years ago. Hebrews 13:8 says "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." As he sought the Lord, God called him to full time ministry, to teach and train believers to fulfil the Great Commission in Mark 16:15-18, to preach the Gospel, set the captives free and heal the sick.
Two years later in 1985 we established Miracle Ministries. The name was given by God as He said He wanted people to come to meetings expecting to receive their miracle or healing. Praise God many have!! Having received salvation, healing and deliverance they have grown and matured in their walk with God. Since then we have established the Miracle Ministries Fellowshop, run over 70 Schools of Miracles in Australia and many Ministry Outreaches and Schools of Miracles in Fiji, USA, South Korea, France, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand and the Czech Republic.
In 1993 we moved to 57 Hassell Street Westmead, where the Lord told us to establish a Miracle Center for the Western Suburbs of Sydney. He wanted us to work along side the Medical profession in helping people regain their health and take back all that Satan had stolen from them. Every Tuesday morning at 10:30am is a School of Miracles service combined with training people to minister to the sick. Over the years we have seen many amazing miracles, people healed as they persisted and people saved and baptised in the Holy Spirit.
In 1994 a team of 10 were in Fiji on a Ministry Outreach. There was a mighty move of the Holy Spirit during this Outreach. In the Sigatoka Valley and on Mana Island there was Revival as Methodists and Pentecostals came together in unity as brothers and sisters in the Lord. As a result of this unity many people were saved, healed and filled with the Holy Spirit, rejoicing and dancing before the Lord. About 50 people were healed of cancerous conditions. One man suffering from cancer had been given 5 days to live. His friends brought him out of hospital to the meeting, he was so miraculously healed that he was able to get up and go and eat a plate of sandwiches and walked home. Others were healed of ulcers, arthritis, painful eye conditions, stroke and paralysis. A blind lady began to see, a deaf lady began to hear and a crippled girl stood up. There were also some serious back and spinal conditions healed. One man who was deaf and dumb because a spell had been cast on him as a child was instantly healed as the spell was broken in the Name of Jesus.
In 1995 Pastor Vaughan and Pastor Ellen visited Tavua, Korolevu and Bua on Vanua Levu Island in Fiji. In each place they saw amazing miracles as the Holy Spirit moved sovereignly. They also saw the Glory of God manifest as the people praised and worshipped the Lord. Under that anointing people saw visions of Heaven and of the Glory manifested as Fire, Golden rain or Golden clouds, and visions of Jesus in His Glorious robes. Some were so in the Spirit that they thought they were in Heaven, dancing before the Lord. Others saw angels and an open Heaven and two ladies were taken to Heaven by angels and were dancing and worshipping before the Lord.
In 1997 a small team travelled to Fiji for a Pastor's conference in Tavua and ministry and other Churches. Over 80 attended the Conference and by the last night the delegates were ministering in miracles. A Hindu teenager, blind from birth, received her sight. She was so overwhelmed with gratitude that she and her friend invited Jesus into their lives to be Lord. They have grown in the Lord and are now serving Him. A little crippled boy was healed and many others healed of sicknesses and injuries. The leaders in that Church have been so excited that the Lord can work through them that they have gone out witnessing using healing as a tool of evangelism. As a result the Church has grown by an average of 20 or more a month being baptised and received into membership.
In 1998 Vaughan and Ellen travelled to the USA to attend the Thanksgiving Conference at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, Ashland, Virginia, a ministry led by Rev. Ruth Heflin. We had some wonderful opportunities to make friends with the staff and students and minister to their needs. Some of the miracles are recorded in this manual. The most memorable was a bullet that dematerialised close to Michael's spine. It had caused great pain.
In 1999 Miracle Ministries held Schools of Miracles in New Zealand, USA, England, France and the Czech Republic. These were wonderful opportunities to share the revelations and insights to Miracles that God has given us. It has been so exciting that the delegates have continued ministering what they have learnt, resulting in some wonderful miracles and growth in their respective Churches. In New Zealand a man who was crippled in a car accident 30 years ago and could not walk properly has been regaining his ability to walk, a man dying with cancer is alive and doing well. A baby with a hold in her heart and irregular heart beat now has a regular heart beat and the hole is gradually healing.
In the USA two ladies who were blind in one eye received their sight. Some people were healed of significant spinal injuries. A young girl with a huge swollen stomach that baffled the doctors was instantaneously healed and a lady with only a quarter of her heart working after open heart surgery was able to take deep breaths with out passing out and all the pain had gone.
In Europe a man who had been sent to France for a kidney transplant, was ministered to for a creative miracle. When he went into the hospital for the surgery tests showed that his kidney was totally well (recreated), and praise God, the surgery was cancelled.
We also saw a number of people delivered from Satanic bondages as well as a lady who had been a Yoga instructor and medium totally delivered of a demon that tried to strangle her. She was then filled with an amazing anointing of the Holy Spirit that gave her the ability to preach and witness to all that she met.
Recently in Australia a Frenchman visiting friends in Sydney came to a Bible study. Following the Bible Study titled "All things are possible with God" based in Ephesians. He came forward for ministry for a knee that had been badly broken 20 years ago in a sporting accident.
He was in great pain and had extreme difficulty walking and faced a knee reconstruction surgery. God wonderfully recreated his knee in an instant, the pain went and he could walk, bend his knee and support his body weight on that leg. The next day he walked all over Sydney and a recent report from France stated that the leg was pain free and working well.

During the 1990's God began to place on our hearts that He wanted us to establish a base in the USA. This occured in April, 2002 when Miracle Ministries was established as a Corporation Sole (a legal entity that is totally separate from Government and under Canon Law). The base was set up in Richmond, Virginia and has seen some amazing miracles in this short time.
