The first thing that you see when you come to the Miracle Ministries website are the news articles down the centre of the screen. The news system has some features that are pretty useful.

Firstly, if you click on the picture next to an article it will list all the other articles in the same category (each category has a unique picture).

On the home page you can see when the article was written and how many times it has been read. At the bottom of each article description you can click Read More to view the full article, comments? to make a comment and there are two little icons. The first one is a little printer and the second is an envelope. Clicking the printer displays the full news story in a form suitable for printing. Click the envelope allows you enter a friends email address and the system will email them web address of the article. Try it out by typing in your own email address instead of a friends.

Our news system can also be syndicated. We use the RSS system developed by netscape. This allows you to display links Miracle Ministries news headlines on your website as we have done with Christdot.com (at the bottom of the right column). RSS uses XML to publish news. If you site doesn't already have the capability to receive news via RSS, you will have to do some scripting to interpret the XML into HTML for display on the web. The link to the XML file is displayed at the bottom of every page, just above page load timer.

If nothing in the previous paragraph makes sense to you, don't worry. It is information for webmasters. Basically those who understood will know if they need the information or not. Those who didn't understand all the jargon won't need to know any of the information.
